New Zealand vs Pakistan, 4th Match - Live Cricket Score, Commentary
So that ends things from here. Tomorrow New Zealand take on Bangladesh. Do join us for that one and also catch up on all the action on this platform. Take care and bye for now.
Kane Williamson | New Zealand captain: An improvement again from the last game, nice to adjust to the conditions, clinical with the ball and we used the big side and the wind as well. Finn broke the back of the chase by being super-aggressive and Devon complemented him nicely. We thought it might suit it, we were limited with our other seam bowling options at the moment as we make sure to look after them through this period which is pretty hectic. It's great that there's a number of players in different roles, on this surface we want to address what's in front of us and we did that pretty well. On that sort of a wicket, it's nice to be disciplined with your line and length and not to get too creative. I thought they had a really good powerplay, 42 was a good score on that and our spinners pulled it back. It's one of those roles which is becoming more and more in the international game - spinners bowling in the powerplay and he did a great job today [on Bracewell]. He's been hitting them well, that wicket might be 10 days old but it was a great contribution [on Allen]. Cricket this time of the year is not very common and to be fair the wickets have produced some good cricket. It will be something new on a fresh wicket and for us it's a quick turnaround so we will have to be ready to go again tomorrow. That's what we want to do regardless of the format is to keep improving and tomorrow is another chance.
Babar Azam | Pakistan captain: First innings was a little bit slow, our batting was not up to the mark. Lot of things to discuss and a day off tomorrow, we will ensure we don't repeat the mistakes in the next game. We had a bad day, if we had got 160 would have been good but 130 is easy for the Black Caps.
Michael Bracewell | POTM: Haven't tried this one yet, but might have a go at some point [on the bottle of champagne he gets for being POTM]. Slightly different role bowling in the powerplay today, but pretty happy with the way it came out. Got fortunate in that first over with a couple of short and wide ones that got hit straight to the fielders but that's T20 cricket. Really enjoying my role and working hard at training to do that. Get to train against a lot of the guys in our team, you can see how Finn Allen smokes the spinners and if you can contain him, that's halfway there. That's what we pride ourselves on adapting to different conditions. I would like to have a hit but it's one of those roles where if you're not batting, the side's doing really well - I can't complain too much, nice to have my feet up and watching the guys doing the business.
